CUSTOMER PROBLEM
An Industrial facility required a flexible and cost-effective solution to monitor environmental conditions and control motor speeds remotely. Traditional wired systems were impractical due to complex installation, high costs, or the physical layout of their facilities. They needed a reliable way to detect potential fire hazards (smoke and temperature rise) and intelligently control machinery without extensive infrastructure changes.
UTECH’S SOLUTION
UTECH provided a fully wireless IIoT solution. We deployed battery-powered Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors to monitor smoke and temperature, eliminating the need for power and data cabling. These sensors communicate with UTECH’s versatile Telematic Gateways, which also feature integrated VFD control to manage motor speeds via 0-10V or RS485 signals, creating a unified control and monitoring network.
